Lovely Eyes

Her name is Angelina and her mother was a cleaner
But we've hardly ever seen her since her Robby sailed away.
She is small and she is pretty and she used to be quite witty
But she's been in heartbreak city since her Robby sailed away.

And I think it's such a waste,
Love has left a bitter after-taste
But I'm on the case.

She's a dazzler for sure with her bright green eyes so pure
They've been losing their allure since her Robby went to sea.
It's both frightening and enlightening but her misery is ripening
And the tension has been tightening since her Robby went to sea.

And I think it's such a crime,
How he left you for a shipping line,
All salt and brine.

Lovely eyes. Lovely eyes.
How can you cry? With such lovely eyes?

Robby never went to sea,
Turns out he's doing stir for robbery,
So come with me.

Lovely eyes. Lovely eyes.
How can you cry? With such lovely eyes?

Bags I your lovely eyes!
Bags I your lovely eyes!
Oh how can you cry?
With such lovely eyes.
